Job Description

Overview

  • Manage and oversee ground-up commercial construction projects ranging from $500k to $30M.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.
  • Utilize civil and foundation engineering knowledge to address construction challenges.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members as needed.
  • Contribute to K-12 construction projects, leveraging relevant experience.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Participate in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout project phases.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for commercial construction projects.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to specifications.
  • Resolve technical issues related to civil and foundation engineering aspects.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers on project-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with design teams to optimize construction processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ground-up commercial construction projects.
  • Knowledge of civil and foundation engineering principles.
  • Experience with projects ranging from $500k to $30M.
  • K-12 construction experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
