Job Description

Overview

  • Lead construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Oversee ground-up construction projects, managing public and private works effectively.
  • Coordinate with teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and construction standards.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to construction teams on-site.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage resources efficiently to optimize project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders for seamless project execution.
  • Monitor site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking milestones and deadlines.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure construction quality and progress.
  • Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize delays and disruptions.
  • Prepare and submit project documentation, including reports and budgets.
  • Collaborate with project managers to align construction activities with broader objectives.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required; additional certifications in construction management are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision; 10 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing ground-up construction projects effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of construction standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software is advantageous.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic construction environments.
