Overview

  • Oversee field operations for commercial construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections to streamline project execution.
  • Maintain construction schedules, ensuring milestones are met efficiently.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents and uphold quality standards.
  • Support commissioning, punch list, and project closeout activities.
  • Collaborate with project teams to address challenges and communicate progress effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage daily field operations from project initiation to completion.
  • Develop and oversee short- and long-term construction schedules.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site logistics for seamless workflows.
  • Implement and monitor jobsite safety programs, leading safety meetings.
  • Ensure all work adheres to contract documents and quality standards.
  • Facilitate subcontractor coordination meetings and daily huddles.
  • Track manpower, productivity, and site conditions to optimize performance.
  • Support commissioning, punch list resolution, and project closeout activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Preferred 12 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and industry standards.
  • Experience managing healthcare, education, industrial, or complex commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in construction technology and scheduling tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
