Overview

  • Lead nursing operations at a reputable healthcare organization, ensuring excellence in patient-centered care and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise clinical services within assisted living and specialized care programs, ensuring optimal care delivery.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with case managers and coordinators.
  • Lead and oversee nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and care standards.
  • Conduct patient assessments and reassessments to ensure appropriate care and services.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and quality assurance reports to support operational goals.
  • Participate in policy development and evaluation to enhance care standards and compliance.
  • Facilitate effective communication among patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Manage clinical emergencies and interventions, ensuring swift and effective responses.

Job Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State is required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
  • Advanced training in nursing leadership or management is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 6 years of clinical experience in long-term care or assisted living settings.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NYS Assisted Living and Adult Care Facility regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
  • Exceptional clinical assessment and care planning skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
