Job Description

Overview

  • Lead business development initiatives within the A&H Affinity insurance sector, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Collaborate with underwriting teams and stakeholders to identify and execute strategic sales opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies targeting employer groups, affinity groups, and direct marketing channels.
  • Analyze market trends and compile data to optimize sales performance and pipeline management.
  • Foster relationships with brokers and clients to enhance partnerships and drive mutual success.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business objectives and seamless communication.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and regulatory changes to maintain competitive edge.
  • Prepare strategic sales reports and forecasts for senior management, highlighting growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Generate new business leads and promote A&H Affinity insurance products and services.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to achieve targets and expand market presence.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities within Affinity and other business units.
  • Enhance partnerships to maximize customer loyalty and business development.
  • Utilize association databases to expand presence in targeted markets.
  • Collaborate with broker relationship managers to raise awareness of Affinity solutions.
  • Compile and analyze sales data to develop actionable insights and reports.
  • Coordinate with underwriting teams to negotiate terms and close high-value contracts.
  • Evaluate and improve sales processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the insurance industry.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting, and claims processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset for interpreting data and driving sales performance.
  • Proficiency in sales software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% as required.
  • Existing network within the insurance industry is highly desirable.
