Overview

  • Lead quality assurance efforts for mechanical systems in construction projects, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and safety standards are met.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize HVAC and plumbing installations, driving project success and operational excellence.
  • Apply industry standards and best practices to enhance system reliability and performance across diverse projects.
  • Resolve technical challenges with innovative solutions, ensuring seamless project execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Participate in system testing, commissioning, and validation processes to uphold quality assurance protocols.
  • Utilize engineering expertise to align mechanical systems with project specifications and client expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review mechanical system designs, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
  • Inspect installations of piping, ductwork, insulation, and equipment to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Monitor and verify commissioning processes for HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to address installation challenges and maintain progress.
  • Document and resolve non-conforming work, ensuring timely project progression and adherence to standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to teams, fostering effective achievement of project objectives.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and operational protocols during project execution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, promoting professional excellence in all responsibilities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical construction or quality assurance roles, with 7 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in industry standards such as ASME, ASHRAE, and NFPA, with demonstrated application in projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic planning skills to address project challenges effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders and ensuring project alignment and success.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
  • Commitment to professional standards of excellence and ethical conduct in all activities.
