Job Description

Overview

  • Lead a team of engineers in developing innovative B2B SaaS products using modern JavaScript/TypeScript stacks.
  • Drive technical decisions and uphold engineering standards for code quality, testing, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate roadmap priorities into actionable engineering tasks.
  • Focus on AI adoption to enhance processes and accelerate development using LLMs and AI-driven tools.
  • Manage a team of 6-12 engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
  • Contribute to hiring efforts, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top engineering talent.
  • Ensure delivery of reliable, high-quality software in a fast-paced, product-led environment.
  • Engage technically in architecture reviews, code feedback, and production issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver impactful B2B software solutions.
  • Plan sprints, manage scope, and remove blockers to ensure team progress.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to align engineering efforts with business goals.
  • Set and maintain high engineering standards for quality, testing, and security.
  • Drive technical decisions in partnership with senior engineers for sustainable development.
  • Build a supportive and growth-oriented team culture through effective management practices.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment on shared infrastructure and platform investments.
  • Participate in hiring processes to attract and retain top engineering talent.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, with 2-3 years in management roles.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript stacks, including React, Next.js, and Node.js.
  • Experience with agile practices, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong technical engagement skills for architecture reviews and code feedback.
  • Familiarity with API-driven architectures and real-time communication platforms.
  • Exposure to AI/ML integration in production environments is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and develop engineering teams effectively.
