Job Description

Overview

  • Lead operational oversight across three Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) in a dynamic and growing healthcare organization.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements while driving operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with Directors of Nursing and corporate leadership to align clinical and operational priorities.
  • Manage financial performance, including P&L accountability, budgeting, and operational analysis.
  • Develop and execute strategies for new ASC openings and expansion initiatives.
  • Foster strong relationships with physician partners and stakeholders to support growth and collaboration.
  • Maintain a self-directed schedule with significant local travel between sites.
  • Contribute to the organization's growth trajectory and operational success.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serve as the administrative leader for three ASCs, ensuring operational performance and readiness.
  • Design and manage effective cross-site travel schedules to maintain presence at each center.
  • Collaborate with Directors of Nursing to support clinical teams and operational priorities.
  • Prepare materials for governing board meetings and act as the administrative liaison.
  • Monitor financial metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and present updates to leadership.
  • Oversee compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements across sites.
  • Lead survey readiness and inspections, ensuring consistent policy implementation.
  • Build relationships with physician partners and address concerns professionally.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Administrator or equivalent leader at an ASC.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple sites or business units simultaneously.
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and operational analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) background is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with orthopedic, total joint, GI/endoscopy, or multispecialty ASC service lines.
  • Familiarity with AAAHC or Joint Commission accreditation processes.
  • Comfortable with significant local travel and managing a fluid schedule.
