Job Description

Overview

  • Lead integration efforts for TAK plugins, supporting government and defense users in operational environments.
  • Travel to customer sites for demonstrations, technical exchanges, and live deployments, including CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Develop expertise in Earth intelligence platforms, including imagery tasking, analytics, and enterprise controls.
  • Position TAK as a gateway to broader platform adoption, identifying expansion opportunities.
  • Build professional relationships with operators while maintaining clear communication and alignment with internal teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on TAK ecosystem components, including ATAK, WinTAK, iTAK, and TAK Server.
  • Capture operational requirements and provide structured feedback to inform product and business strategies.
  • Contribute to TAK plugin development by writing, testing, or reviewing TAK-compatible code.
  • Represent the organization at TAK-related events, working groups, and government forums.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide hands-on field support, onboarding, and troubleshooting for TAK users across various sectors.
  • Assist customers in configuring and optimizing TAK environments for maximum value.
  • Support government sales and program teams throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Identify cross-platform opportunities and expansion paths for TAK adoption.
  • Engage effectively with operators, program managers, and government stakeholders.
  • Write, modify, or extend TAK plugins or TAK-compatible code to enhance integration.
  • Participate in TAK-related events and forums, representing the organization professionally.
  • Capture and convert operational requirements into actionable feedback for product development.
  • Maintain professional objectivity while supporting users in operational environments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required, preferably in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operational environments with TAK systems.
  • Deep knowledge of TAK ecosystem components, including ATAK, WinTAK, iTAK, and TAK Server.
  • Experience supporting users in operational environments with professional objectivity.
  • Military, law enforcement, or government service background with exposure to C2 workflows.
  • Active security clearance required; TS SCI strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, including CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Preferred experience with TAK plugin development and geospatial data formats.
  • Strong familiarity with satellite imagery fundamentals and tasking workflows.
