Project Architect

Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee the design and development of healthcare facility projects from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings and specifications for construction purposes.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
• Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate effective communication between clients and project teams.
• Analyze project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and presentations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in architectural project management; 10 years preferred.
• Proficiency in healthcare facility design and construction processes.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
• Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional on-site visits.
