Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and oversee operations of multiple ambulatory surgery centers within the region.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards across facilities.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, governing boards, and leadership teams to drive performance.
  • Develop and manage budgets, staffing plans, and operational strategies.
  • Support physician partnerships and maintain strong medical staff relations.
  • Identify opportunities for service line growth and operational improvements.
  • Foster quality improvement initiatives and enhance patient experience.
  • Oversee vendor contracts and ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and operational reviews with the home office.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide operational and financial oversight for multiple ambulatory surgery facilities.
  • Lead day-to-day operations in collaboration with administrators and medical staff.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and manage operating budgets and address financial risks.
  • Support physician credentialing processes and partnerships.
  • Lead facility leadership teams and oversee workforce planning.
  • Drive infection control and patient satisfaction initiatives.
  • Manage vendor and service contracts efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the home office on strategic initiatives and reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ASC or hospital surgical leadership.
  • Preferred 7 years of experience in healthcare operations management.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and drive financial performance.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills.
  • Experience in physician relations and credentialing processes.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and implement improvements.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for regional oversight.
