Overview

  • Serve as a Dental Treatment Coordinator in a dynamic dental practice, ensuring smooth patient care and scheduling.
  • Guide patients through treatment plans, providing clear communication and excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure timely and efficient care delivery.
  • Manage patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist patients with insurance claims, billing inquiries, and payment processing.
  • Provide estimates for treatment costs and arrange financing options when needed.
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for patients and staff.
  • Utilize dental practice management software for scheduling and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Explain treatment plans and procedures to patients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Coordinate appointments and follow-up treatments based on patient needs.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and assist with claims and billing processes.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a dental treatment coordinator role or similar.
  • Proficiency with dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
