  • Lead payroll operations for a dynamic organization, ensuring compliance with labor laws and union agreements.
  • Manage payroll processes for a workforce of approximately 500 employees using advanced software solutions.
  • Supervise and develop a team of payroll professionals, fostering collaboration and growth.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
  • Ensure precise payroll processing and reporting, adhering to tax regulations and company policies.
  • Enhance timekeeping systems for efficient tracking of employee hours and attendance.
  • Support the transition to advanced payroll software, optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payroll-related inquiries effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations relevant to the industry.
  • Administer comprehensive employee benefits and address related queries efficiently.
  • Utilize payroll software to process payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct audits to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, preferably within unionized environments.
  • Proficiency in payroll software such as CMiC Construction Software or Sage Timberline.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Exceptional skills in reporting, auditing, and data analysis.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading payroll teams effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
