Overview

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care in an ambulatory setting, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction through exceptional clinical practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses and reporting changes to healthcare providers.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and screenings to identify health needs and develop care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment protocols.
  • Coordinate patient care plans to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of services.

  • Utilize eClinicalWorks for accurate and timely patient record management and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards to maintain a secure healthcare environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in ambulatory settings, such as clinics or emergency rooms.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems, preferably eClinicalWorks, is essential.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle clinical activities.
  • Preferred qualifications include bilingual English/Spanish skills and experience in pediatric and women's health services.
