Landscape Designer

Overview

• Collaborate with a team of professionals to design and produce construction drawings for municipal, educational, and commercial projects.
• Contribute to the development of parking lots, athletic fields, public parks, grading, and drainage projects.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite programs to create detailed designs and documentation.
• Work under the guidance of Landscape Architects or Civil Engineers to ensure project success.
• Engage in low-level client contact to support project requirements and deliverables.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of sustainable and functional landscapes.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all design work.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop construction drawings for diverse projects, including municipal, educational, and commercial sites.
• Design parking lots, athletic fields, public parks, and drainage systems with precision and creativity.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
• Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed plans and specifications for construction purposes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil/site design and construction drawing production.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite programs is essential.
• Experience in designing parking lots, athletic fields, public parks, and drainage systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team under the direction of senior professionals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality designs.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to landscape design.
• Professional licensure is not required but advantageous.
