Overview

  • Lead the development and implementation of .NET-based applications in a dynamic financial services environment.
  • Collaborate with business users to define requirements and optimize workflows for impactful solutions.
  • Deliver high-quality software through all phases of the development lifecycle, including design, testing, and support.
  • Utilize expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and front-end technologies to create scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Collaborate with middle office operations and IT teams to deliver optimized solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability and quality.
  • Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold coding standards.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of equity clearing trade flows and reconciliation processes.
  • Provide post-release support to ensure seamless application performance.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate them into development practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in .NET development within financial services settings.
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong SQL skills including stored procedures and functions.
  • Experience with software architecture, object-oriented principles, and concurrency patterns.
  • Knowledge of equity clearing trade flows and reconciliation processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and migration strategies is a plus.
  • Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
