- Contribute to the preparation of public financial documents, including statements, disclosures, and management discussions.
- Collaborate with auditors and internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory adherence.
- Monitor accounting developments and support the adoption of new rules and standards.
- Prepare detailed analyses for financial reporting areas, ensuring precision and compliance.
- Engage in ad hoc projects, enhancing organizational reporting and compliance efforts.
- Collaborate with senior professionals to address complex accounting issues and document technical conclusions.
- Contribute to investor relations materials, supporting transparency and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Ensure compliance with evolving accounting guidance, interpreting US GAAP standards effectively.
- Prepare comprehensive technical accounting memos for transactions, documenting treatments and conclusions.
- Develop financial statements, disclosures, and management discussion sections for public filings.
- Support due diligence and comfort letter procedures for capital market transactions.
- Monitor GAAP and SEC developments, assisting in the adoption of new rules.
- Conduct analyses related to financial reporting areas, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure successful audits of financial statements and controls.
- Participate in ad hoc projects, contributing to organizational reporting initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting; 3 years preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP standards and SEC reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in preparing technical accounting memos and analyzing financial reporting areas.
- Experience with public filings, including 10-Ks and 10-Qs, and investor relations materials.
- Ability to collaborate with auditors and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills for documenting and interpreting accounting issues.
