Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead interior design efforts across all project phases, ensuring alignment with client goals and design intent.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, and clients to develop cohesive and innovative design solutions.
- Oversee space planning, material and finish selections, FF&E, and branded environments to achieve project objectives.
- Produce and review design presentations, renderings, and construction documentation for accuracy and quality.
- Coordinate with consultants and vendors to ensure alignment with design intent and project goals.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA standards, and life safety requirements throughout project execution.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative studio environment.
- Utilize advanced design software to create compelling visualizations and detailed documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of interior design experience, with 10 years preferred.
- NCIDQ certification is preferred or should be in progress.
- Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite is essential for success.
- Experience in workplace, hospitality, multifamily, or educational interiors is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of FF&E, specifications, and construction documentation processes.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills to effectively manage relationships.
- Ability to work on-site in a collaborative and fast-paced studio environment.
