- Assist in strategic planning and provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Participate in monthly and annual financial close processes for various corporate entities.
- Ensure compliance with financial transaction approvals and reconcile monthly bank statements.
- Analyze intercompany balances and facilitate timely fund movements between entities.
- Prepare monthly expense forecasts and annual budgets to guide financial planning.
- Support local accountants by coordinating activities and addressing inquiries.
- Engage in ad-hoc projects and analytical tasks to enhance financial operations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Review and ensure appropriate approvals for financial transactions to maintain compliance.
- Participate in monthly and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements monthly and monitor cash flow across entities.
- Analyze intercompany balances and ensure timely fund movements between entities.
- Prepare and analyze account reconciliations, providing insights into variances.
- Develop monthly expense forecasts and annual budgets to support financial planning.
- Guide local accountants by coordinating activities and addressing inquiries effectively.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and analytical work to support organizational goals.
- Adapt working hours to collaborate with staff in China as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management.
- Advanced Excel skills, evaluated during the interview process.
- Knowledge of Workday general ledger and human resource systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese for effective communication.
- Experience managing global cash flow is preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate international collaboration.
