Job Description

Overview

  • Lead field construction activities ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate project planning, execution, and closeout for multifamily construction projects.
  • Serve as liaison between ownership, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless transition from construction to operations.
  • Implement safety protocols and maintain compliance with local regulations.
  • Oversee quality control, inspections, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to stakeholders and leadership.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop subcontractor scopes, logistics plans, and buyout strategies.
  • Review contract documents for constructability and identify issues via RFIs.
  • Coordinate weekly work plans and resolve field conflicts effectively.
  • Enforce safety compliance and document non-conformance issues.
  • Track and resolve deficiencies and non-conformance issues promptly.
  • Manage punch lists and turnover processes ensuring project completion.
  • Monitor performance, productivity, and potential cost impacts.
  • Coordinate RFIs and submittals with design teams and consultants.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of field experience in mid- to high-rise multifamily construction.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Procore software.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately.
  • Degree from an accredited university preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
  • Experience leading large-scale projects ($35M+) with proven results.
  • Well-rounded experience across concrete and wood frame construction lifecycle.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to drive team alignment.
  • Established subcontractor and municipality relationships in Southeast Florida preferred.
