Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to the corporate finance team's efforts in financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis.
  • Utilize your expertise in US GAAP and IFRS to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with international finance directors to address accounting and reporting matters.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and management reports during monthly close.
  • Analyze financial statement variances and prepare detailed reports for upper management.
  • Assist in maintaining corporate accounting policies and internal controls.
  • Support compliance requests from auditors and internal departments.
  • Engage in one-off projects and assignments to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for monthly close processes.
  • Analyze financial statement variances against forecasts, budgets, and prior years.
  • Collaborate with international finance teams on accounting and reporting matters.
  • Develop analytical reports and presentations for executive management.
  • Maintain corporate accounting policies and procedures manuals.
  • Assist in internal control development over corporate accounting functions.
  • Coordinate with auditors and internal departments for compliance and reporting.
  • Participate in special projects to support organizational goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in accounting or related field required.
  • 2-3 years of public accounting experience, preferably in auditing.
  • CPA certification strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in US GAAP, IFRS, and emerging accounting standards.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial reporting systems like SAP BPC or OneStream.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional extended hours.
