Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assume responsibility for engagements, staffing assignments, and workflow within the group.
  • Review and sign all work before submission to clients, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Maintain open communication with firm members to optimize client service delivery.
  • Oversee staff performance reviews and foster professional development within the team.
  • Prepare client billings and monitor receivables to ensure financial accountability.
  • Enhance client relationships and actively seek new business opportunities.
  • Participate in community and professional organizations to build firm recognition.
  • Mentor staff in marketing and business development activities to expand firm services.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • CPA or law degree mandatory for the role.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, with 15 years preferred, in accounting leadership.
  • Proven skills in practice development and client relationship management.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and leadership abilities essential.
  • Proficiency in various accounting software and effective time management skills.
