Overview

  • Serve as a strategic partner to attorneys in financial services and digital assets practices.
  • Drive business development initiatives to enhance client growth and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute integrated strategies and initiatives.
  • Focus on supporting the firm's presence in New York and Charlotte markets.
  • Develop tailored pitch materials and proposals for regulated financial institutions and fintech companies.
  • Monitor industry trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Coordinate thought leadership initiatives and practice-specific events targeting financial services audiences.
  • Support client teams in identifying cross-selling opportunities and expanding relationships.
  • Track business development activities and pipeline opportunities for assigned practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with firmwide objectives.
  • Assist with annual practice planning, revenue growth initiatives, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Monitor regulatory, industry, and market trends impacting financial institutions and digital asset businesses.
  • Produce research on target clients, prospects, competitors, and market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to support thought leadership initiatives.
  • Coordinate practice-specific events, webinars, and sponsorships targeting financial services audiences.
  • Support client teams in identifying cross-selling opportunities and expanding relationships.
  • Track business development activity, proposal outcomes, and pipeline opportunities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated and consistent execution.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field required.
  • 7+ years of relevant business development or marketing experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with financial services regulation, fintech, or digital asset markets highly desirable.
  • Exceptional project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/business intelligence platforms.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and results-driven mindset.
  • Impeccable communication skills and executive presence.
  • Ability to travel regularly between firm offices as needed.
  • Must live within a commutable distance to the firm office with hybrid work expectations.
