Job Description

Overview

  • Coordinate caregiver recruitment, scheduling, and onboarding processes to ensure seamless operations in a home care agency.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with state and agency standards.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and address caregiver and patient concerns professionally.
  • Collaborate with on-call staff and answering services to manage scheduling needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support agency operations.
  • Work on-site with a flexible schedule including occasional Saturday shifts.
  • Contribute to a growing home care agency dedicated to high-quality client care.
  • Ensure visits are authorized and billable while enforcing company policies fairly.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process caregiver applications promptly and maintain accurate employee files.
  • Run weekly orientations for newly hired CHHAs and CNAs.
  • Support scheduling and assist with coverage needs to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Communicate daily with on-call staff and answering services to address scheduling issues.
  • Address caregiver and patient concerns professionally and report related issues.
  • Assist with quality assurance initiatives and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Ensure visits are authorized and billable while enforcing company policies consistently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of recruiting or HR experience in home care or healthcare.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with people and solving problems effectively.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and have home care experience.
  • Able to lift up to 10 lbs and bend/stoop as needed.
  • Proficient in English for effective communication.
  • Willing to work occasional Saturday shifts and travel to Summit office weekly.
