Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a pivotal contributor to financial operations, ensuring precision in cash reporting, liquidity management, and reconciliation processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage bank accounts, account openings, and KYC processes for funds and counterparties.
  • Support the booking and processing of financial transactions, including DDTL and RCF draws, and fund expense payments.
  • Aggregate and post monthly pricing and valuations for portfolio assets, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Assist in trade settlements and operational tasks for private and liquid operations teams.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Order Management System (OMS).
  • Engage in ad hoc projects and tasks, providing analytical insights and operational support.
  • Report directly to the Head of Operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Set up and approve wire transfers, ensuring compliance with financial protocols and accuracy in execution.
  • Manage cash reporting and liquidity processes, maintaining operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Reconcile cash and positions to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.
  • Coordinate bank account setups and openings, including KYC processes for counterparties.
  • Process fund expenses and financial transactions, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Post monthly portfolio valuations and pricing data, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
  • Support trade settlements and operational tasks for diverse financial instruments.
  • Collaborate on OMS development projects to enhance system capabilities and efficiency.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects, providing analytical and operational expertise to drive organizational goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • 1-5 years of experience in financial operations or related roles.
  • Proficiency in handling wires, cash reconciliations, and bank debt securities.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with OMS systems is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced settings.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborative team efforts and stakeholder engagement.
