Job Description

Overview

  • Manage daily operations of retail/commercial properties, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and tenant satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary contact for tenant maintenance requests and operational concerns.
  • Coordinate and oversee routine and emergency repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Supervise vendors for landscaping, cleaning, and maintenance services.
  • Monitor rent payments and ensure lease compliance, addressing arrears as needed.
  • Maintain organized records of contracts, insurance certificates, and inspection reports.
  • Assist with tenant move-ins, move-outs, and store improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and building inspections.
  • Leverage technology and property management systems for efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain high standards of safety and presentation.
  • Address tenant concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Schedule and oversee repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring quality outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Arts degree or equivalent education required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in retail property management; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software systems.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, vendor management, and lease administration.
  • Excellent communication and tenant relations skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and safety standards.
