Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed architectural drawings and designs for various projects.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations during the design process.
  • Participate in project phases, including drafting, detailing, and coordination tasks.
  • Engage with clients to understand project requirements and provide design solutions.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Utilize Revit software to produce accurate and efficient architectural drawings.
  • Contribute to the development of boutique apartments and mixed-use projects.
  • Support the team in achieving project milestones and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Draft and detail architectural designs for various project phases.
  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Review and refine drawings for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in client interactions and presentations as required.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure proper record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize design processes.
  • Support public meetings and planning board presentations when necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of wood frame and podium construction projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent degree required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience, with 8 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit software for architectural drafting and detailing.
  • Experience with mixed-use and boutique apartment projects is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of wood frame and podium construction methods.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
