Job Description

Overview

  • Provide comprehensive women's health care services in a dynamic and supportive environment.
  • Perform routine gynecological care, including annual exams, family planning, and STI testing and treatment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and procedures to manage gynecological conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient health records using electronic systems.
  • Engage in a fast-paced clinical setting with opportunities for professional growth.
  • Support patients with diverse backgrounds, including those who speak Creole or Spanish.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct physical exams and review medical histories to assess patient health.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
  • Diagnose and manage gynecological conditions, prescribing appropriate treatments.
  • Perform office procedures such as IUD insertion, Nexplanon placement, and biopsies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and social workers for integrated patient care.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and preventive care strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Job Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on women's health.
  • Valid NP and RN licenses with national certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in gynecological care, preferred 4 years.
  • Proficiency in performing office procedures such as IUD and Nexplanon placements.
  • Comfortable using electronic health records systems, particularly eCW.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Multilingual skills, especially in Creole or Spanish, are highly desirable.
