Overview
- Collaborate on electrical system design and execution for diverse projects in commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors.
- Lead design efforts, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Work in a hybrid environment, combining on-site and remote collaboration.
- Contribute to team development by mentoring junior engineers and fostering collaboration.
- Utilize advanced design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM/ETAP for project execution.
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, and architectural professionals.
- Support construction administration through site visits and review of technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design and implement electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and energy-efficient solutions.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and specifications for projects.
- Perform load calculations and ensure compliance with NEC and other building codes.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project integration.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering skill development and team growth.
- Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction phases.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address technical challenges.
- Lead client-facing initiatives and ensure project leadership and accountability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license, preferably in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design; consulting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM/ETAP.
- Strong knowledge of NEC and relevant building codes.
- Experience with commercial, healthcare, higher education, or industrial projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for client-facing roles.
