Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design and optimize pipelines for geospatial data ingestion, processing, and storage, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Develop and implement quality assurance workflows to maintain data accuracy, reliability, and reproducibility.
• Integrate dataset lineage tracking with artifact stores to enhance data management and traceability.
• Define and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) for data freshness, availability, and quality standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and user-friendly data infrastructure solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, Geospatial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in geospatial systems development and data engineering.
• Proficiency in geospatial imagery pipelines, spatial indexing, and data normalization techniques.
• Experience with dataset versioning, quality assurance workflows, and artifact store integration.
• Strong understanding of data reliability principles and usability optimization strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and maintain ownership of solutions.
