Overview
- Provide exceptional customer service and inside sales support within a fast-paced aerospace distribution environment.
- Respond to inbound RFQs and prepare accurate quotes using internal pricing tools.
- Collaborate with procurement teams and external vendors to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Manage the full order lifecycle, including quoting, pricing, and follow-up communication.
- Support outside sales efforts and maintain relationships with assigned customers.
- Develop product knowledge and apply pricing discipline effectively within six months.
- Work on-site during standard business hours with potential overtime opportunities.
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage inbound RFQs and deliver timely quotes to customers using internal tools.
- Ensure accuracy in purchase order processing and review for completeness.
- Coordinate with procurement teams and vendors for pricing and lead time information.
- Maintain consistent communication with customers via email and selective phone interactions.
- Follow up on key accounts to support quote conversion and relationship management.
- Support outside sales and business development activities as required.
- Demonstrate sound pricing judgment and escalate higher-value quotes appropriately.
- Maintain organization across multiple sales opportunities and stages.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong communication skills, primarily via email, with some phone interaction.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on execution and responsiveness.
- Comfortable working with internal systems and performing data entry tasks.
- Prior customer service, inside sales, or office experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work on-site during standard business hours with potential overtime.
