Overview

• Lead AI transformation initiatives for a prominent alternative asset manager, driving measurable business outcomes through innovative AI adoption strategies.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI use cases across investment, operations, and corporate functions.
• Design and execute AI-driven solutions addressing investment research, portfolio monitoring, fund operations, and investor relations challenges.
• Oversee cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Establish AI governance frameworks and best practices to ensure compliance and risk management.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability within the financial services domain.
• Drive change management initiatives to promote user adoption and organizational alignment with AI strategies.
• Contribute to the client’s mission of enhancing operational efficiency and strategic decision-making through AI.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Serve as the primary AI transformation lead, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with C-suite executives and investment teams to align AI strategies with business objectives.
• Develop and implement AI solutions for investment research, portfolio monitoring, and fund operations.
• Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of AI technologies within existing workflows.
• Establish governance frameworks to manage AI risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Promote AI adoption through effective change management strategies and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor and evaluate emerging AI technologies, recommending their adoption where beneficial.
• Provide thought leadership on AI transformation within the private markets industry.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in consulting, AI/data transformation, or technology leadership roles.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale transformation programs within financial services.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts and their practical applications in investment management.
• Experience working with alternative asset managers, including private equity and hedge funds.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills to drive project success.
• Familiarity with AI governance, risk frameworks, and regulatory considerations.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external vendors effectively.
