Job Description

Overview

  • Coordinate and manage the legal billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
  • Collaborate with partners and secretaries to develop individualized billing plans tailored to preferences.
  • Monitor unbilled inventory proactively to identify billing opportunities and streamline processes.
  • Draft detailed and narrative client invoices, ensuring clarity and precision in billing documentation.
  • Analyze time entries to prepare legal bills and summary memoranda for client communication.
  • Act as a liaison between partners, clients, and billing support staff to finalize and submit invoices.
  • Maintain firm and client information security, adhering to organizational policies and reporting risks.
  • Contribute to a hybrid work environment with flexibility and adaptability to changing arrangements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Job Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in legal billing within a law firm setting.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for effective collaboration.
