Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and present interior design concepts that align with client goals and project requirements.
- Create detailed construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, and material specifications.
- Select and specify finishes, furniture, and materials to achieve design objectives and standards.
- Ensure all designs comply with ADA regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architectural and engineering teams to integrate interior designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines.
- Utilize software tools such as Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and AutoCAD for design and documentation tasks.
- Engage with clients to understand their vision and provide expert guidance throughout the design process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited program.
- 5-8 years of professional experience in interior design, with a focus on commercial projects.
- NCIDQ certification or actively pursuing certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and AutoCAD for design and documentation tasks.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills to manage projects effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, ADA compliance, and industry standards.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and in-office collaboration.
