Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and present interior design concepts that align with client goals and project requirements.
  • Create detailed construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, and material specifications.
  • Select and specify finishes, furniture, and materials to achieve design objectives and standards.
  • Ensure all designs comply with ADA regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with architectural and engineering teams to integrate interior designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines.
  • Utilize software tools such as Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and AutoCAD for design and documentation tasks.
  • Engage with clients to understand their vision and provide expert guidance throughout the design process.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited program.
  • 5-8 years of professional experience in interior design, with a focus on commercial projects.
  • NCIDQ certification or actively pursuing certification is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and AutoCAD for design and documentation tasks.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills to manage projects effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, ADA compliance, and industry standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and in-office collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to select finishes, specify furniture, and create compelling graphic presentations.
