Job Description

Overview

  • Lead global accounting operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
  • Oversee financial processes including general ledger, consolidation, and project accounting.
  • Manage external audits and statutory reporting across international regions.
  • Implement process improvements and automation initiatives for financial operations.
  • Support ERP system evaluation and long-term strategy development.
  • Develop and mentor a geographically distributed accounting team.
  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders on financial trends and operational strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and project-based revenue recognition standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes globally.
  • Oversee accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements.
  • Manage external audit relationships and deliverables.
  • Support cross-functional decision-making with financial insights.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal control environments.
  • Coordinate compliance with local statutory reporting requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop accounting teams across multiple regions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably 10 years, in accounting leadership roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, and project-based revenue recognition.
  • Experience managing global consolidation and external audit processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP ECC 6.0 Finance modules.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
