Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial operations for a rapidly growing wealth management platform, ensuring compliance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with acquisition teams to integrate financial systems and processes seamlessly.
  • Implement and optimize ERP systems like NetSuite to enhance financial reporting.
  • Contribute to strategic financial planning, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to US GAAP standards in revenue recognition, purchase accounting, and leases.
  • Act as a liaison for external audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance in reporting.
  • Develop and scale financial infrastructure to support organizational growth.
  • Provide leadership in post-acquisition financial integration and technology onboarding.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage general ledger processes, monthly close activities, and financial statement preparation.
  • Conduct reconciliations, variance analysis, and cash forecasting with precision.
  • Apply expertise in US GAAP for complex accounting areas and disclosures.
  • Lead ERP system implementation projects, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Coordinate post-acquisition financial integration, onboarding partner companies to systems.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, ensuring compliance and transparency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial processes with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement scalable financial systems and processes for sustained growth.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • Minimum of 8 years professional accounting experience, with 2+ years in-house.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems like NetSuite; CPA certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP standards and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience in post-acquisition financial integration and systems scaling.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and optimize financial processes in growing organizations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in financial operations.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to collaborate across teams.
