Job Description

Overview

  • Lead large-scale commercial construction projects from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring operational excellence and team mentorship.
  • Drive strategic planning and process improvements to enhance organizational growth and project efficiency.
  • Collaborate with field leadership to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Mentor and develop project teams, fostering professional growth and leadership capabilities.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to company standards throughout all construction phases.
  • Contribute to the company’s long-term growth by identifying and resolving project challenges proactively.
  • Participate in preconstruction efforts, including budgeting, value engineering, scope review, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and client communication effectively.
  • Lead multiple commercial and industrial construction projects simultaneously, ensuring successful completion.
  • Collaborate with field leadership to ensure safety, efficiency, and schedule adherence.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other team members.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges proactively to minimize risks and maintain profitability.
  • Assist executive leadership with strategic planning, process improvement, and operational initiatives.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to company standards throughout construction phases.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 10-15+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, buyout, contracts, and construction operations.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage client relationships effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing ground-up commercial, industrial, warehouse/logistics, manufacturing, or large-scale commercial projects.
  • Commitment to quality control and adherence to company standards.
