Overview
- Lead operations of a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center with advanced equipment and diverse specialty services.
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and governing boards to ensure smooth facility operations and quality patient care.
- Drive compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, ensuring safety and operational excellence.
- Manage financial performance, operational risks, and budget planning to achieve sustainable growth.
- Support physician relationships, credentialing processes, and service line development initiatives.
- Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and employee performance management to maintain high-quality operations.
- Participate in operational reviews and performance reporting to identify improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to infection control, quality improvement, and patient experience enhancement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee daily administrative, clinical support, and business functions of the surgery center.
- Serve as the primary liaison between governing boards, medical staff, and leadership teams.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards.
- Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets effectively.
- Monitor financial performance and address operational risks proactively.
- Support physician relationships, credentialing processes, and medical staff coordination.
- Manage vendor, service, and physician contracts to ensure operational efficiency.
- Lead quality improvement, infection control, and patient experience initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for service line development and operational enhancements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for healthcare or business administration.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ASC or hospital surgical leadership roles.
- Preferred 5 years of experience in ambulatory surgery center administration or similar roles.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, financial performance, and operational risks effectively.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards in healthcare.
- Experience in physician relationship management and credentialing processes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in workforce planning and employee performance management.
