Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Direct daily accounting and fund administration activities for multiple investment sponsors.
- Prepare and review workpapers, financial statements, and investor allocations with precision.
- Maintain strong client relationships through frequent executive-level communication.
- Guide and coach accounting teams, ensuring adherence to performance standards.
- Oversee fund deliverables setup, including capital calls, distributions, and waterfall models.
- Ensure compliance with USGAAP reporting standards for investment funds and companies.
- Manage special projects to address client-specific requirements and improve processes.
- Collaborate with auditors, legal professionals, and banking personnel to ensure seamless operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required.
- Minimum of 7 years of fund accounting experience in private equity or financial institutions.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience, with strong leadership skills.
- Advanced knowledge of investment reporting and USGAAP standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with complex waterfall models and partnership agreements.
- Strong problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
