Job Description
Overview
- Lead field operations for large-scale commercial construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to schedules.
- Coordinate structural concrete activities, including layout, formwork, rebar installation, pours, finishing, and curing.
- Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors to maintain workflow and resolve field issues.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe work environment.
- Monitor manpower, productivity, equipment usage, and material deliveries to optimize project execution.
- Conduct daily planning meetings and maintain detailed jobsite documentation for project tracking.
- Ensure quality control standards are met throughout all phases of concrete construction work.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily concrete construction activities on commercial job sites.
- Lead field crews and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules for accurate execution.
- Coordinate layout, formwork, rebar installation, concrete pours, finishing, and curing operations.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to maintain workflow and resolve field issues effectively.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications like OSHA 30 preferred.
- 5+ years of concrete construction experience, with leadership or foreman experience preferred.
- Background in commercial, industrial, healthcare, or large-scale projects is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of structural concrete systems and sequencing.
- Ability to manage crews, schedules, and subcontractor coordination effectively.
- Experience reading blueprints and construction documents for accurate project execution.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to guide teams and resolve issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
