Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to a leading private equity fund administration team, gaining exposure to diverse fund lifecycles and top-tier sponsors.
  • Drive process improvements and expand expertise in private equity fund accounting and reporting standards.
  • Work in a hybrid environment combining in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
  • Engage in critical tasks such as financial statement preparation, tax calculations, and investment structure analysis.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure operational integrity and client service excellence.
  • Participate in training initiatives and assist in onboarding new funds and employees.
  • Utilize advanced accounting knowledge to manage complex fund structures and allocations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Analyze accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including consolidated reports with footnotes.
  • Calculate carried interest, profits, and losses according to fund agreements.
  • Set up investment structures, including holding companies and tax blockers.
  • Determine current and deferred tax expenses and related liabilities.
  • Assist in transitioning and setting up new funds while training new employees.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of technical excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Economics, or Finance is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in private equity fund accounting.
  • Knowledge of consolidations with non-controlling interest is essential.
  • Proficiency in realized and unrealized waterfall allocations is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work arrangement.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
