Overview

  • Lead structural engineering projects for industrial, commercial, and technology facilities, ensuring innovative and efficient designs.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers on high-value projects up to $500 million.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead structural engineering contributions to major projects, ensuring compliance with design standards.
  • Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and other materials.
  • Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to achieve project goals and deadlines.
  • Review shop drawings and provide technical guidance during construction phases.
  • Utilize software tools such as Revit, Ram Structures, and TEDDS for precise designs.
  • Engage with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Manage priorities effectively, ensuring timely completion of assignments.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices and standards.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or eligibility for licensure.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering; 12 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in structural design and analysis software, including Ram Structures and TEDDS.
  • Experience with a variety of materials such as steel, concrete, masonry, and cold-formed metal framing.
  • Strong knowledge of Revit and other design tools for project execution.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
