Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Plan, execute, and oversee heavy civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables effectively.
  • Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules and budgets.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives to address challenges and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction project management.
  • Preferred 7 years of experience managing large-scale projects exceeding $40M in scope.
  • Proven expertise in earthwork, underground utilities, and foundation construction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Ability to work on-site and oversee project activities directly.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in construction.
  • Experience with project documentation, scheduling, and budget management.
