Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit, ensuring optimal patient care delivery.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare standards.
- Coordinate staff schedules, assignments, and workload distribution to maximize efficiency.
- Facilitate staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and foster collaboration.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of patient care activities and outcomes.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry; 3 years preferred.
- Active Registered Nurse license in California with BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation or completion of a Basic EKG course within six months.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in charge nurse or supervisory roles.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and departmental performance metrics effectively.
