Job Description

Overview

  • Lead strategic initiatives in hedge fund and private credit operations, driving technology and operational transformation within a dynamic consulting environment.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver impactful solutions, enhancing operational efficiency for clients in alternative investments.
  • Develop and implement methodologies, tools, and frameworks to optimize client delivery and internal practice scalability.
  • Engage with COOs, CFOs, and operations leaders to address complex challenges in hedge fund and private credit operations.
  • Contribute to business development through proposal creation, client presentations, and relationship expansion initiatives.
  • Advise on technology ecosystems, including order management, treasury, portfolio accounting, and data infrastructure solutions.
  • Shape cross-platform service offerings for multi-strategy and hybrid fund structures in collaboration with private equity and credit practices.
  • Empower client teams to drive sustainable transformation through collaboration, insight, and execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead advisory engagements for hedge fund and private credit clients, focusing on system selection, implementation, and operating model transformation.
  • Serve as delivery owner for Geneva implementations, upgrades, and integration workstreams, ensuring successful project execution.
  • Advise clients on middle- and back-office operations, including NAV production, shadow accounting, and investor reporting.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions for hedge fund operations, encompassing OMS/EMS platforms and data infrastructure.
  • Develop reusable methodologies, toolkits, and proposal templates to scale the hedge fund and credit accounting practice.
  • Collaborate with private equity and credit practices to create integrated service offerings for hybrid fund structures.
  • Drive business development activities, including client presentations and proposal development.
  • Represent the firm’s expertise in competitive situations, showcasing thought leadership and innovative solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with 10+ years of experience in hedge fund or credit operations.
  • Expertise in SS&C Advent Geneva, including chart of accounts design, workflow configuration, and reporting build-out.
  • Proficiency in hedge fund middle- and back-office operations, including trade lifecycle and multi-asset class accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of hedge fund technology, including OMS/EMS platforms, treasury systems, and investor portal solutions.
  • Prior consulting experience with ability to structure problems, build deliverables, and present to senior stakeholders.
  • Exposure to complex fund structures such as multi-strategy, credit, or hybrid PE/HF vehicles.
  • Preferred certifications include CPA, CFA, or CAIA, demonstrating industry expertise and commitment.
  • Experience with platforms such as EZE, Finbourne, Arcesium, and Bloomberg AIM is highly desirable.
