Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Architect and implement embedded firmware systems from concept through production.
- Lead schematic development for microcontroller-based systems, power conversion, and motor drives.
- Develop real-time, safety-critical embedded software with stringent reliability requirements.
- Drive integration across sensors, actuators, and control hardware for scalable operation.
- Execute advanced testing methodologies and validation processes for mission-critical systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware/software issues across the system stack.
- Influence cross-functional architecture and engineering direction as a technical authority.
- Elevate engineering standards and mentor senior engineers within the organization.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical design and embedded firmware development.
- Expertise in microcontroller-based systems, power electronics, and motor control.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for embedded systems and development workflows.
- Experience with embedded Linux, RTOS, and kernel customization for specialized platforms.
- Strong command of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, CAN, UART, and I2C.
- Track record of optimizing embedded software for low latency and high performance.
- Familiarity with safety certification standards and regulatory requirements.
