Staff Accountant

Overview

• Support accounting processes, month-end close, and finance projects in a hybrid work environment.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and ledger maintenance aligned with U.S. GAAP standards.
• Collaborate with the accounting team during SAP S/4 implementation and ongoing projects.
• Prepare financial reports related to accounts payable, including aged payables and cash flow forecasts.
• Work closely with the Vice President Finance of Americas to meet organizational goals.
• Utilize strong communication skills to work effectively within a team setting.
• Contribute to a consultant project with a structured hybrid schedule.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare and post journal entries ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform month-end closing activities including reconciliation, fixed assets, and analysis.
• Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Support SAP S/4 implementation and handle ad hoc requests.
• Prepare financial reports related to accounts payable and cash flow forecasts.
• Maintain technical accounting and external reporting expertise including U.S. GAAP.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Proficiency in SAP, IFRS16, and fixed assets management.
• Strong technical accounting and external reporting expertise including U.S. GAAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems, and analyze complex data effectively.
• Experience in month-end closing activities and general ledger management.
