Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and implement advanced electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and energy-efficient solutions.
  • Prepare and review detailed technical documentation, drawings, and specifications for various projects.
  • Perform load calculations and ensure adherence to NEC and other relevant codes.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve seamless project integration and execution.
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and fostering skill development.
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction phases to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address technical challenges effectively.
  • Lead client-facing initiatives, ensuring project leadership and accountability.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license, preferably in Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design; consulting experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM/ETAP.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and relevant building codes.
  • Experience with commercial, healthcare, higher education, or industrial projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for client-facing roles.
