Overview
- Drive the successful execution of electrical projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Oversee project planning, execution, and completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout project lifecycles.
- Manage resources effectively, including budgeting, forecasting, and allocation.
- Foster strong client relationships through clear communication and exceptional project management.
- Prepare and process project documentation, including submittals and RFIs, efficiently.
- Mentor and supervise Assistant Project Managers to ensure team productivity and growth.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring adherence to contractual timelines.
- Secure necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities for project execution.
- Negotiate and oversee contracts with vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Implement quality assurance processes and regularly report on project progress.
- Manage changes effectively to meet evolving project requirements and objectives.
- Evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement to enhance future performance.
- Participate in project meetings, representing organizational goals and ensuring alignment.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; certifications in project management are advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in electrical projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools essential for effective planning.
- Strong strategic planning, risk management, and leadership skills required.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges.
- Experience in contract negotiation and managing vendor relationships preferred.
