Associate Director, Commercial Digital Ai Leader

Overview

• Lead the strategic architecture for Commercial technology, integrating platforms, data, and applications to support business capabilities.
• Collaborate with leadership to align technology solutions with Commercial objectives and digital transformation goals.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and compliant technology ecosystems across global markets while enabling local flexibility.
• Drive innovation through emerging technologies and modular architecture approaches for agility and faster value delivery.
• Promote customer-centric design principles and data-driven decision-making within Commercial processes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders on technology decisions impacting growth and transformation.
• Apply deep expertise in Commercial domains such as Sales, Marketing, Field Operations, and Customer Experience.
• Collaborate with IT delivery teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure architectural consistency and governance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Commercial Technology blueprint mapping platforms, data flows, and integration layers.
• Define target-state architectures for CRM, omnichannel engagement, analytics, and field enablement.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture teams to align with enterprise standards and governance frameworks.
• Lead architecture design for high-impact use cases, including customer journey orchestration and digital marketing.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enable innovation and differentiation within Commercial processes.
• Establish and enforce governance frameworks, integration standards, and compliance requirements.
• Drive innovation through experimentation zones and partnerships with startups and strategic vendors.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with operational workflows and measurable business outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT or Enterprise Architecture with a focus on Commercial domains.
• Proven ability to define and deliver enterprise-scale architecture blueprints and frameworks.
• Expertise in Commercial platforms like Salesforce, Veeva, and Adobe Experience Cloud.
• Strong understanding of data ecosystems, analytics platforms, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industries preferred.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, SAFe, or cloud platform certifications are advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.
